Job summary

Allure of Peru in Peru, Illinois is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct resident care and assist with daily living activities under the supervision of our nursing staff. This role requires a valid Illinois CNA certification, ability to read, write, and communicate in English, and reliability in offering compassionate care to residents.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Illinois CNA certification.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Long-term care experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with meals, hydration, and feeding.
• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, repositioning, and mobility.
• Monitor and record vital signs, weights, and intake/output.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs; Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Protect resident privacy and HIPAA compliance.
• Follow all company policies and state/federal regulations.
• Participate in ongoing education and training.
