Job summary

The Good Shepherd Health & Rehabilitation Center in Ashland, OH is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our growing team. You will provide individualized care to residents according to each plan of care and support daily living activities.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, grooming, feeding, mobility, monitoring health, and engaging residents in activities, while maintaining a clean, safe living environment and collaborating with nurses.

Qualifications

• Active unencumbered CNA certification in Ohio.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care to residents according to each resident's plan of care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ALDs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist with mealtime activities, including feeding residents as needed.
• Assist residents with mobility, including transferring and positioning them safely.
• Monitor residents' health status and vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nurse.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote overall well-being.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized living environment for residents.
• Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident.
