Job summary

Ashland Village Assisted Living in Ashland, OH is seeking a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate nursing team. You will provide individualized care and support to residents, working closely with healthcare professionals to maintain the highest quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must have active unencumbered CNA certification in Ohio.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Highly organized and detail oriented; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care to residents per plan of care.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Assist with mealtime activities and feeding as needed.
• Assist with mobility: transferring and positioning residents safely.
• Monitor health status and vital signs and report changes to nurse.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized living environment.
• Perform other duties to provide exceptional care.

What You'll Do

• Provide individualized care to residents according to each resident’s plan of care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ALDs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist with mealtime activities, including feeding residents as needed.
• Assist residents with mobility, including transferring and positioning them safely.
• Monitor residents’ health status and vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nurse.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote overall well‑being.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized living environment for residents.
• Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident.
