Job summary

COX HEALTHCARE LTD is seeking a dedicated Certified Nurse Assistant to provide compassionate care in accordance with facility policies. You will assist residents with daily living activities, document care, and support the care team to maintain quality of life.

You will participate in in-service programs, follow infection control practices, report changes to the charge nurse, and ensure respect for residents' privacy and dignity while responding to call lights and resident needs.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an approved training program and passed competency examinations for Certified Nurse Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Works with residents to maintain, improve and/or enhance each resident's quality of care and quality of life
• Provides, completes, and documents resident care as assigned in a timely and accurate manner.
• Attends and participates in facility in-service programs.
• Practices good infection control techniques in all aspects of resident care.
• Reports any change of condition to charge nurse.
• Responds timely to resident requests, including call light response.
• Observes residents rights including privacy, dignity, and others when providing care to residents.
• Communicates effectively with residents, families, other staff members, and management.
• Assists residents for social functions and meals in a timely manner as assigned or as indicated on plan of care.
• Other duties as needed by residents.
