Job summary

The Cox Healthcare Ltd seeks a dedicated Certified Nurse Assistant to provide compassionate resident care in Owasso, Oklahoma. You will follow management policies and procedures to support residents' well-being and comfort.

You will document care activities, participate in in-service programs, maintain infection control, and communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff, upholding residents' rights and dignity.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an approved CNA training program.
• Passed competency examinations for CNA.
• Good physical and mental health; able to perform required lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Works with residents to maintain, improve and/or enhance each resident's quality of care and quality of life.
• Provides, completes, and documents resident care as assigned in a timely and accurate manner.
• Attends and participates in facility in-service programs.
• Practices good infection control techniques in all aspects of resident care.
• Reports any change of condition to charge nurse.
• Responds timely to resident requests, including call light response.
• Observes residents rights including privacy, dignity, and others when providing care to residents.
• Communicates effectively with residents, families, other staff members, and management.
• Assists residents for social functions and meals in a timely manner as assigned or as indicated on plan of care.
• Other duties as needed by residents.
