Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Works with residents to maintain, improve and/or enhance each resident's quality of care and life.
• Provides, completes, and documents resident care as assigned in a timely and accurate manner.
• Attends and participates in facility in-service programs.
• Practices infection control techniques in all aspects of resident care.
• Reports any change of condition to charge nurse.
• Responds timely to resident requests, including call light response.
• Observes residents' rights including privacy, dignity, and others when providing care to residents.
• Communicates effectively with residents, families, other staff members, and management.
• Assists residents for social functions and meals in a timely manner as assigned or as indicated on plan of care.
• Other duties as needed by residents.
