Job summary

Nest & Care in the Montgomery and PG County area seeks dedicated caregivers to provide compassionate in-home support. The role involves hands-on personal and companion care, following each client’s care plan to deliver safe, respectful assistance.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of caregiving experience, reliable attendance, and a genuine desire to improve clients' quality of life. Training and development opportunities, flexible schedules, and a supportive team are available.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience in agencies, nursing homes, or similar settings.
• No attendance issues.
• Able to perform personal and companion care per care plan.
• Reads and follows client care plans and assessments.
• Adheres to company policies including dress code and time off.
• Clock in/out on shift systems.
• Observes clients and reports health changes promptly.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal and companion care.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, personal hygiene.
• Follow care plans and assessments to deliver consistent quality care.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Record clock-ins/outs on client systems.
• Observe clients for changes and notify Nest & Care staff.

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Caregivers with at least one (1) year of caregiving experience working or who have worked in any agencies, nursing homes, group homes, assisted living, etc.
• Caregivers with no attendance issues.
• Caregivers who believe that they can make a difference in the lives of their clients.
• Caregivers who can perform personal and companion care – provides hands‑on care, which may include assisting with bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Reads the client’s care plan and assessments and provides consistent quality care based upon the care plan for each client.
• Adheres to all company policies, including dress code, time off, call‑out, etc.
• Clocks in and out of every shift worked on the appropriate systems associated with the client or clients they are servicing.
• Observes clients, recognizes changes in their behavior or health, then notifies the appropriate personnel of Nest & Care if necessary.
