Job summary

Nest & Care in Montgomery County, MD is hiring Personal Caregivers to provide compassionate, hands-on care to clients. You will assist with bathing, dressing, eating, toileting and mobility according to each client's care plan. We value reliability, empathy and a positive attitude.

Shifts are 9am–5pm, seven days a week or every other day; driving and errands are helpful. Benefits include 401(k), flexible schedule, training and development, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of caregiving experience in agencies, nursing homes, or similar settings.
• Ability to perform personal care tasks per care plan.
• Valid driver''s license and ability to drive preferred.
• Reads and follows client care plans with attention to quality of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal and companion care including bathing, dressing, eating and hygiene.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and daily activities as prescribed.
• Follow care plans and document observations.
• Adhere to company policies, schedules, and shift check-ins.
• Run errands if needed and support clients in the Montgomery County area.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS are:

• CMT's with at least one (1) year of caregiving experience working or have worked in any agencies, nursing homes, group homes, assisted living, etc.
• Caregivers with no attendance issues
• Caregivers that can work from 9am to 5pm Mondays through Sundays or every other day
• Caregiver who can drive and run errands.
• Caregivers who believe that they can make a difference in the lives of their clients
• Caregivers who can perform personal and companion care - provide hands-on care, which may include assisting with bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Reads the client’s care plan and assessments and provides consistent quality care based upon the care plan for each client
• Adheres to all company policies, including dress code, time off, call-out, etc.
• Clocks in and out of every shift worked on the appropriate systems associated with the client or clients they are servicing
• Observes clients recognize changes in their behavior or health, then notifies the appropriate personnel of Nest & Care if necessary
