Job summary

WesleyLife is seeking a CNA/CMA to provide comprehensive care for residents on the 2nd shift. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health needs, and support residents’ emotional well-being within a supportive team in a WesleyLife community.

Eligible candidates should have an active CNA license (Iowa), with CMA considered but not required, and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork abilities. A shift differential may apply and pre-hire screening is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age (This is a requirement)
• Active CNA license in the state of Iowa; CMA preferred but not required
• Prior experience in LTC preferred but not required
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Pass medications as required and monitor health indicators
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
• Facilitate resident participation in recreational and therapeutic activities
• Maintain a clean, safe environment following infection control protocols
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team
