This role emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork, and strong communication with residents and families, with daytime and evening shifts and every other weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Must hold Illinois CNA certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Monitor and record vital signs as assigned.
• Assist with resident care needs under the direction of the nursing team.
• Provide emotional support, encouragement, and companionship to residents.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Observe and promptly report changes in residents’ condition to the nursing team.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Work collaboratively with nurses, caregivers, and other team members to support resident needs.

About the Role

High Point Residence Chester is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team.

In this role, you will provide hands‑on care and daily support to residents while helping create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. You will work closely with our nursing team to provide quality, person‑centered care and make a meaningful difference in residents’ everyday lives.

Minimum Qualifications

Current CNA certification in the state of Illinois

High school diploma or equivalent

Strong communication skills with residents, families, and team members

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in long‑term care, supportive living, assisted living, or senior living

Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities

Key Responsibilities
