Job summary

High Point Residence Jerseyville is seeking a compassionate CNA to join our overnight care team. This full-time night shift runs 11pm–7:30am, with every-other weekend required.

You will provide hands-on care to residents, assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and document care accurately. You will work closely with licensed nurses, promote safety and comfort, and help maintain a warm, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to the nursing team.
• Measure and document vital signs as directed.
• Assist with repositioning, transfers, and ambulation using proper safety techniques.
• Support residents with meal service, hydration, and other daily needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident care.
• Keep resident rooms and common areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergency situations.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Follow all infection prevention, safety, and regulatory guidelines.

High Point Residence Jerseyville is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our overnight care team. In this role, you will provide hands‑on assistance and compassionate support to residents while promoting their dignity, comfort, safety, and independence.

As a valued member of our nursing team, you will work closely with licensed nurses and fellow caregivers to deliver exceptional resident-centered care and help create a warm, welcoming environment for those we serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in assisted living, supportive living, long‑term care, skilled nursing, or healthcare.
• Experience providing care for older adults.
• CPR certification (preferred).
