Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Participate in and receive resident reports at start/end of shift.
• Provide personal/nursing care in accordance with resident care plan.
• Facilitate and conduct activities.
• Monitor & respond to resident requests and needs in a dignified and respectful manner.
• Maintain a clean and pleasant environment for residents.
• Assist in preparing residents for activities.
• Ensure resident care is provided respectfully.
• Perform basic nursing care procedures.
• Create a safe, comfortable environment for residents.
• Meet resident food service needs timely and compassionately.
• Maintain documentation records.
• Follow departmental, center, and corporate policies and standards.
• Attend training and educational programs to maintain certification.
• Perform other activities as assigned.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program or eligible to enter and pass the state test within 120 days of employment.
