Job summary

Saint Therese is seeking a Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for overnight shifts (10:00pm - 6:30am) at the Oxbow Lake campus in Brooklyn Park, MN. The role offers competitive wages ($21.27 – $28.87/hr, based on experience) and benefits including healthcare, retirement, and tuition support.

As a CNA, you will assist residents with daily living, provide compassionate care, and support meals, mobility, and routines.

Qualifications

• State-approved CNA program completion.
• Current Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry certification.
• Working knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to meet physical demands including lifting 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility and transfers.
• Support residents’ comfort, dignity and independence through person-centered care.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition or needs to nursing staff.
• Assist with meals, hydration and dining support as needed.
• Provide companionship and engagement with residents.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment.
• Follow care plans, safety procedures and infection control standards.
• Complete accurate documentation in required systems.
• Collaborate with nurses and care team to support resident care and well-being.
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and strong customer service in daily interactions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Successful completion of a State approved program in compliance with the Nurse Assistant Training Act
• Current certification through Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry required.
• Working knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while accurately planning and completing assigned tasks
• Demonstrated good judgment, integrity, and respect for others
• Awareness of and sensitivity to residents’ individual needs, interests, and abilities
• Strong commitment to compassionate, resident‑centered customer service
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting and assisting residents (50+ lbs.)
