CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant (Part-Time)(2nd shift) - Preston House

Preston House is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide outstanding resident care and support. This part-time role on 2nd shift involves compassionate assistance with daily activities, emotional and physical support, and ensuring resident well-being.

Responsibilities include:

• Building positive relationships with residents, families, and staff
• Maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA
• Assisting with daily living activities such as turning, ambulating, and delivering food and beverages
• Helping with personal hygiene, including bathing and using bedpans
• Providing adjunct care like delivering ice packs or assisting with therapy-related baths
• Monitoring and recording food and fluid intake, and urinary and fecal outputs
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals and following safety protocols

Requirements:

• Passion for caring for the senior population
• High School diploma or GED
• State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification
• Current CPR Certification (preferred)
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with team members and healthcare professionals
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
