Job summary

Canterbury Woods in Williamsville, NY is seeking a CNA for the 2 pm-10 pm evening shift. A $1.50 per hour shift differential is offered. Full-time, regular part-time, and weekend-part-time positions are available with recruitment/retention bonuses of $4,000 or $2,500 respectively.

Responsibilities include ADLs, mobility, record-keeping, and communicating daily needs to the Charge Nurse. Benefits include health/dental/vision, paid time off, 401(k) with match, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as CNA with NY certification.
• Active on the NY CNA Registry with no findings or convictions of resident abuse, mistreatment, or misappropriation of property.
• Verbal and written English skills.

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (dressing, bathing, personal grooming, feeding, and toileting).
• Assist residents with ambulation, transfers, and wheelchair transport.
• Maintain resident care records and document services provided.
• Report to the Charge Nurse on Duty the daily needs, unusual symptoms, and progress of residents.
• Provide a high level of customer service and person-centered care approach.
