Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Clifton Springs Nursing Home in Clifton Springs, NY. Part-time evenings (3pm–11pm) with a 22.5 hour weekly schedule and every other weekend.

Responsibilities include patient care, safety and documentation, with a focus on compassionate support in a diverse caseload including vent units and rehab. A signing bonus of up to $2,250 is offered.

SUMMARY

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide high quality, individualized patient care in collaboration with the nursing team. Your ability to take initiative while always assisting and maintaining patient care will be critical in the success of the entire team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum age requirement: 18
• Currently certified in New York State as a Certified Nursing Assistant

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• High School diploma or equivalent

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Moderate - Clinical - Moderate clinical roles are patient facing roles that require continual movement, including standing, walking, and lifting 20–50 lbs., along with pushing and pulling medical equipment and assisting with patient positioning. Employees perform frequent bending, twisting, and reaching while completing fine motor tasks in busy or confined clinical environments. High sensory acuity is essential for monitoring patient status and responding to alarms or safety concerns. Emotional and cognitive demands are substantial, involving decision-making under pressure, responding to emergencies, and maintaining sustained focus. Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation. TB testing, mask-fit testing, and physical exams are common requirements.
