Job summary

Sylvan Shores Health and Wellness in La Porte, TX is seeking a Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) for full-time roles. You will provide compassionate patient care in a skilled nursing setting and assist with daily living activities to support residents’ well-being.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas Certified Nurse Aide Certification required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Hoyer Lift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care in a skilled nursing facility setting.
• Assist patients with daily living activities and mobility.
• Lift/move patients up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Maintain health and safety standards in the facility.
• Work shifts including nights and/or weekends.

Job Duties

• Enjoy working in a skilled nursing facility setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties.
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year).
