Wexford House in Kingsport, Tennessee is seeking a compassionate CNA to join our care team on the day shift. As a CNA, you'll be essential to our residents' care, assisting with activities of daily living and coordinating dining services with the nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification for the state of Tennessee.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive services and duties as assigned by clinical leadership.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living according to care plans.
• Assist with patient care tasks and coordinate dining services including meal tray delivery, feeding assistance, and meal intake documentation.
• Report changes in a resident’s condition to the nurse supervisor and communicate factors affecting performance.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information in verbal, written, and electronic forms.

CNA Position Summary

As a CNA at Wexford House, you'll be an essential part of our residents' care. Responsibilities include:

• Provide supportive services and performs duties as assigned by clinical leadership.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living in accordance to care plans.
• Assist with patient care tasks and coordinate dining services including meal tray delivery, feeding assistance, and documentation of meal intake.
• Report any changes in a resident’s condition to the nurse supervisor and keep them informed of factors that interfere with being able to perform work as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.

CNA Requirements

• An active CNA Certification for the state of Tennessee
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
