Job summary

Accela Post Acute Care at Hamilton is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for all shifts at the 55-bed facility on the RWJ University Hospital-Hamilton campus. The role delivers daily routine care, assists with meals, transfers, and maintains a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant certification from the state of New Jersey.
• Experience in Acute care LTC or similar settings.
• Current/active CPR certification is preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily routine care, including bathing, dressing, and serving meals.
• Feed residents as necessary.
• Provide safe transfers.
• Assist with maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
• Document clinical actions by completing forms, reports, and logs.

Weekend Requirement: This position requires rotating weekends (on/off schedule). All Per Diem staff must commit to working at least one full weekend per month (both Saturday and Sunday).
