Accela Post Acute Care at Hamilton is seeking an RN Supervisor for weekend shifts at our 55-bed post-acute care center in Hamilton Township, NJ. The role involves supervising weekend nursing staff, conducting patient assessments, and ensuring high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey.
• Experience in acute care LTC or similar setting.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Excellent English communication, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage weekend nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans with the healthcare team.
• Monitor nursing care quality and ensure regulatory compliance and facility policies.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff and coordinate scheduling for weekends.
• Address resident or family concerns promptly and professionally.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and incidents.
• Support team with on-site leadership during weekend shifts.

NOW HIRING: 11-7 RN Supervisor

RN Supervisor Responsibilities Include:

• Oversee and manage nursing staff on weekends, ensuring that all residents receive exceptional care.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Monitor the quality of nursing care provided and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
• Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, offering coaching and mentorship as needed.
• Manage staffing needs, including scheduling and overseeing nursing personnel during weekend shifts.
• Address and resolve any resident or family concerns promptly and professionally.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of patient care activities and incidents.

RN Supervisor Qualifications:

• RN license in the state of New Jersey
• Experience in Acute care LTC or similar settings required
• Current/active CPR certification is preferred
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills
• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives
• Customer service-oriented with the ability to work well under pressure

Weekend Requirement:

This position requires rotating weekends (on/off schedule). All Per Diem staff must commit to working at least one full weekend per month (both Saturday and Sunday).
