Job summary

WesleyLife in Des Moines, IA is seeking a licensed CNA to join our compassionate team. You will assist residents with daily living activities, provide emotional support, and encourage involvement in recreational activities.

You’ll help maintain a clean, safe environment while collaborating with families and the healthcare team. Shift options include 1st shift 6:00a-2:30p full- or part-time and 2nd shift 2:00p-10:30p part-time (24 hr/wk).

Qualifications

• State of Iowa CNA license required (CMA preferred).
• Experience in LTC or AL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Foster participation in recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment per infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
