Job summary

Life Enriching Communities is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our memory care or skilled nursing units in Cincinnati, OH. This role supports residents with daily living activities and ensures safety and dignity in a warm, team-oriented environment.

You will perform hands-on care, respond to call lights, and follow care plans while maintaining infection control and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Providing assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Responding to call lights and resident requests promptly and respectfully.
• Supporting residents’ physical and emotional well-being per care plans.
• Maintaining a patient-centered, calm environment that respects residents’ dignity and rights.
• Encouraging residents to maintain independence where possible.
• Following safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• Current CNA certification
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of patience, compassion, and professionalism
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking the English language
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
