Job summary

Apple Rehab Rocky Hill is seeking a dedicated CNA to support residents in daily activities in a warm, family-like setting. Starting pay is competitive, with shift differentials and weekend opportunities for reliable staff.

Per diem positions are available across shifts (7-3, 3-11) to fit your schedule. Responsibilities include bathing, grooming, and routine charting while maintaining resident comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
• No history of patient/resident abuse as per State Registry.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and following oral and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent follow-through, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Team player with good cooperation and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards residents and their support networks.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents in daily bathing, grooming, dental care, bowel and bladder functions, dressing, walking and wheelchair use.
• C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant documents personal care given according to facility policies.
• Provides nursing functions as directed including perineal care, making beds, turning residents, measures and records temperature, weight, pulse and respiration.
• C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant observes and reports to supervisor changes in residents’ condition, including any skin breakdowns.
• Reports immediately all accidents or injuries.
• Records all necessary charting entries.
• Answers all call lights regardless of assignment.
• Responds to emergency situations calmly and efficiently.

Job Opportunity: CNA Certified Nursing Assistant

Starting Pay: Competitive rates starting at $20

Differentials Offered:

• Shift Differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts and weekends
• Additional Shifts Differential: Extra $5.00/hour for any shifts worked outside scheduled hours

Available Shifts:

• CNA 7-3 - 32 hours
  CNA 7-3 - 16 hours
  CNA 3-11 - 8 hours
