Job summary

Rose Senior Living in Novi, MI is seeking a CNA/Caregiver to provide high-quality personal care to residents in our Clinical Services team. The role includes assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, meals, and vital signs, reporting changes to the nurse on duty.

Schedule is 6:30am to 3pm with Week 1: Mon Tue Sat; Week 2: Sun Thu Fri. Pay ranges $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on qualifications, unit, credentials, and experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Nurse Aide Certification preferred but not required.
• At least 1 year experience in assisted living/memory care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform resident care activities and nonprofessional services essential to comfort and personal needs.
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, continence care, foot care, vital signs, and height/weight checks per policy.
• Assist residents at mealtimes and report changes to the nurse on duty and Director of Health Services.

Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

Must have at least one (1) year experience working in assisted living/memory care preferred.

Nurse Aide Certification preferred but not required.

General Summary

About the role

Assist residents with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy. Assist residents at mealtime. Encourage a calm atmosphere. Report to nurse on duty and the Director of Health Services all unusual behaviors of resident (change in status).
