Job summary

Vitality Living Lake Forest Community seeks a dedicated Caregiver/Personal Care Specialist to assist residents with daily activities and emotional wellbeing.

You will follow care plans, report needs, participate in onboarding and training, and work closely with the Wellness Director. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain any certification as required by state or provincial regulations.
• Meet state or provincial health related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, simple treatments, and emotional health issues as indicated in service plans.
• Assist in development and revision of service plans by informing supervisor of resident needs and preferences.
• Observe and report resident problems to LPN or Medication Tech/Aid.
• Attend onboarding, annual and in-service training and team meetings, as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director.
