Job summary

Nest & Care in Maryland is seeking compassionate Personal Caregivers to provide hands-on care and companionship to clients in their homes. The role involves assisting with bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and personal hygiene, following each client's care plan with diligence and empathy.

Ideal candidates have a CNA or CMT certification and at least one year of caregiving experience, a reliable attendance record, and a genuine desire to make a difference in clients' lives.

Qualifications

• CNA or CMT certification with 1+ year of caregiving experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting and personal hygiene.
• Read and follow client care plans to ensure consistent quality care.
• Observe changes in client behavior or health and report to Nest & Care staff as needed.
• Adhere to all company policies including dress code and time-off rules.
• Clock in and out on the client systems for each shift.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS are:

• CNA/ CMT's with at least one (1) year of caregiving experience working or have worked in any agencies, nursing homes, group homes, assisted living, etc.
• Caregivers with no attendance issues
• Caregivers who believe that they can make a difference in the lives of their clients
• Caregivers who can perform personal and companion care - provide hands-on care, which may include assisting with bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Reads the client’s care plan and assessments and provides consistent quality care based upon the care plan for each client
• Adheres to all company policies, including dress code, time off, call-out, etc.
• Clocks in and out of every shift worked on the appropriate systems associated with the client or clients they are servicing
• Observes clients recognize changes in their behavior or health, then notifies the appropriate personnel of Nest & Care if necessary
