Job summary

Nest & Care in Maryland is seeking compassionate Personal Caregivers to provide exceptional, hands-on support to clients. You will assist with daily activities and follow individualized care plans to ensure quality care and client comfort.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year caregiving experience in any care setting (home, agency, facility).
• Demonstrates compassion and ability to support clients with dignity.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are expected.
• Strong communication with clients, families, and team.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal and companion care (bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, personal hygiene).
• Review care plans and assessments to deliver consistent, high-quality care.
• Follow all company policies including dress code and time off procedures.
• Clock in/out on shift platforms for accurate records.
• Observe client health or behavior changes and report to Nest & Care staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS are:

• CNA/ CMT's with at least one (1) year of caregiving experience working or have worked in any agencies, nursing homes, group homes, assisted living, etc.
• Caregivers with no attendance issue
• Caregivers who believe that they can make a difference in the lives of their clients
• Caregivers who can perform personal and companion care - provide hands-on care, which may include assisting with bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Reads the client’s care plan and assessments and provides consistent quality care based upon the care plan for each client
• Adheres to all company policies, including dress code, time off, call-out, etc.
• Clocks in and out of every shift worked on the appropriate systems associated with the client or clients they are servicing
• Observes clients recognize changes in their behavior or health, then notifies the appropriate personnel of Nest & Care if necessary
