Hospice of Marion County, a member of Empath Health, seeks a caring CNA for our Hospice House in Ocala and Summerfield. You will assist with hygiene, feeding, baths, and daily activities, while maintaining a safe, compassionate environment for patients and families.

We offer benefits, paid time off, and opportunities for CEU support and tuition reimbursement as part of Empath Health. Schedule is 12-hour shifts, 7am–7pm on Saturdays and Sundays, totaling 24 hours weekly.

Qualifikationen

• One to three years of training and/or experience required.
• One year of experience in a long-term care facility strongly preferred.
• Valid Florida Board of Nursing certification (CNA license) required.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License required only if driving as mode of transportation.

Aufgaben

• Assist patient with personal hygiene and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Prepare and serve regular and special diets; assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform basic grooming, baths or showers, and oral hygiene.
• Change bed linens and perform light housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Support with laundry, kitchen cleanup, and other duties as assigned.

Regardless of the mode chosen, both are at the colleague’s own expense, with the exception of mileage reimbursement eligibility when traveling between facilities while on company time.Must be able to remain flexible and work at alternate facility where there is a business need for reassignment for one or more shifts at an alternative facility. When this occurs, the colleague is responsible for their own transportation to the alternate facility and at their expense.
