Job summary

Sanford Health, including Good Samaritan, seeks a Bath Aide, CNA for long-term care to provide resident-centered care during a day shift. You will perform daily living support, vital signs collection, and documentation under RN supervision.

The role emphasizes infection control, patient comfort, and teamwork within a nonprofit health system serving rural communities. CNA certification is required, with continuing education kept up to date.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required and maintained.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living assistance including bathing, grooming, toileting, and feeding as needed.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, range of motion, and positioning.
• Support dining activities and monitor nutrition and hydration.
• Document resident care, vitals, and responses; communicate changes to RN.
• Assist with housekeeping, laundry, and recreational programs.
• Participate in committees as needed.
