Job summary

Rocky Mountain Care Group's Spring Hollow Assisted Living in Orem, UT is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents with daily living activities, follow care plans, and assist the nursing staff as needed.

Requirements include a valid state CNA, current CPR/BLS, food handler permit where applicable, a high school diploma, and no disqualifying certifications. Prior SNF/ALF experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state (preferred, not required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Current Food Handler Permit (when applicable)
• Must have no disciplinary action in effect against certification.
• Skilled Nursing or Assisted Living Facility: At least one year of experience as a certified nursing assistant in a SNF or ALF is preferred, not required)

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive services to nurse, med tech and other staff as needed and performs duties as assigned.
• Assists resident with or performs activities of daily living for resident in accordance with care plans and established policies and procedures.
• Assists resident with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.
• Coordinates dining room services at assigned mealtimes, including set-up and clean-up, meal tray delivery, feeding assistance, and documentation of meal intake.
• Delivers nutritional supplements to patients at assigned times and provides assistance as necessary to ensure intake. Documents intake accordingly.
