Job summary

Focused Post Acute Care Partners is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to join our team in a long-term care setting. The CNA will assist residents with activities of daily living, promote independence and dignity, and ensure safety and comfort throughout the shift.

Responsibilities include following the charge nurse's schedule, moving and transferring residents safely, responding to call lights, assisting with feeding, and maintaining clean, dry, and secure resident environments.

Qualifications

• Must have current Nurse Aide certification in the state of Texas.
• Must be in good standing on the Nurse Aide Registry in the state of Texas and Misconduct Registry.
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living to promote independence and dignity.
• Follow resident assignment schedule as made by the charge nurse.
• Lift, move, and transfer residents safely.
• Respond to call lights promptly and assist or feed residents as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and proper resident hygiene.
