Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care in Jacksonville, FL is hiring CNAs and HHAs for one-on-one home care throughout St Johns County, Jacksonville, and surrounding areas. We match caregivers with clients based on availability, skills, client needs, and reasonable travel distance.

Our client schedules vary and may include part-time, full-time, weekday, weekend, day/evening, overnight, and short shifts. Most client cases pay $17 to $18+ per hour, with benefits and a supportive team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Active Florida CNA license or HHA certificate.
• Level Two Background Screening.
• Recent TB screening.
• Classroom CPR certification.
• HIV/AIDS training.
• Alzheimer's and Related Dementias training.
• Assistance with Self Administration of Medication training.
• Reliable transportation to client homes.
• Caregiving experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Comfort around pets is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting assistance.
• Transfers and mobility help.
• Meal preparation.
• Medication reminders.
• Companionship and conversation.
• Light housekeeping for the client.
• Help with errands or appointments.
• Reporting changes or concerns to the office.

Flexible Home Care Opportunities

Our client schedules change as our agency grows and new clients begin care.

Opportunities may include:

• Part time work
• Full time work

• Four hour minimum shifts
• Eight hour and twelve hour shifts when available
• Overtime opportunities when available

What You Can Earn

Most client cases pay $17 to $18+ per hour. Some cases may pay more depending on the client's needs, schedule, location, and level of care.
