ScionHealth's Kindred Hospital Paramount ARU is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support licensed staff in patient care and daily living activities. You will help with vitals, transfers, and routine tasks in a 177-bed hospital with LTACH beds and ARU care.

You will assist in admission, discharge, and routine treatments under supervision, ensuring patient comfort and safety while maintaining documentation and care standards.

Formación

• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Must have good and regular attendance.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Able to organize tasks, develop action plans, set priorities and function under stressful situations.
• Ability to maintain a good working relationship both within the department and with other departments.
• Approximate percentage of time required to travel: 0%.
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Pay Range: $23.00/Hr
• $7,500 Sign on bonus

Responsabilidades

• Assists professional nursing personnel in providing patient care in assigned areas.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides for personal care, emotional support and performs more complex clinical skills under the direction of professional nursing personnel.
• Consults with and informs supervisor of unit activities, needs, and problems related to patient care.
• Provides general nursing care such as positioning, lifting, turning, applying equipment, assisting in bed pan usage, ambulating, pre/post operative care, and basic patient care.
• Takes and records vital signs and intake/output; documents promptly.
• Prepares patient room for admission/transfer and maintains a clean, comfortable environment.
• Assists in patient admission, transfer, and discharge; handles patient belongings.
• Responds to patient call lights, phone, and paging; supports RN as needed.
• Assists with routine treatment procedures under RN direction and with restraints as directed by RN.
• Ensures proper patient positioning and alignment; assists with meals and feeding as needed.
