Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for an acute care role in Vancouver, WA. The position is per diem with 36 hours per week and pay of $28 per hour. The CNA will perform direct patient care under the supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN and provide comfort and basic needs to patients.

The ideal candidate has a nursing assistant certification, CPR, and relevant experience. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), and weekly paychecks where eligible.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensed medical professional.

The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients.

Minimum Requirements:

• One year experience as a nursing assistant preferred
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant per client/staterequirements Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clericalfunctions
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
