Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a contract - full time role in Jamaica, NY. The CNA delivers direct patient care under supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN, performing routine tasks to meet patient needs.

Minimum requirements include one year of nursing assistant experience, certification as a Nursing Assistant, and compliance with health and safety standards. Pay is $23 per hour with 40-hour weeks and benefits available.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a nursing assistant preferred.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant per client/state requirements.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
