Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practitioner in Colorado. The role includes assisting with personal care and comfort needs and performing related non-professional services.

The ideal candidate will have CNA certification, CPR if required, and be 18+ with the ability to meet health and regulatory requirements. This contract position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensed medical professional.

The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients.

Minimum Requirements:

• One year experience as a nursing assistant preferred
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant per client/state requirements
• Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
