Job summary

Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support the Resident Activity Aide role and enrich residents' daily lives through person-centered activities.

You will assist with activity planning, lead small and large group sessions, document participation in medical records, and collaborate with the care team to foster a caring, engaging environment for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Active TN CNA license is required.
• Good listener with strong communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport and work with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist the activity director and support resident programming.
• Engage residents in one-to-one, small group, and large group activities.
• Document participation and outcomes in the medical record.
• Create and post monthly activity calendars and assist with special events.
• Foster community and well-being through biopsychosocial approaches.
