Job summary

Solaris HealthCare Lely Palms in Naples, FL is seeking an Activities Assistant CNA to join our caregiving team. You will plan and run recreational and therapeutic activities, support residents during activities, and foster a sense of community and belonging.

We value resident-centered care, teamwork with nursing and therapy staff, and ongoing development. Florida CNA certification and a high school diploma are required, with a focus on compassionate, safe care for older adults.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Florida CNA certification required.
• Experience in activities programming or related field preferred but not required.
• Passion for working with older adults and diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement recreational, social, and therapeutic activities for residents.
• Provide hands-on assistance and support during activities.
• Encourage participation and promote community and belonging.
• Maintain records of participation and observations.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and social work teams to integrate activity programs.
• Modify activities for residents with physical or cognitive limitations.
• Assist with supplies and equipment for activities.
• Communicate with residents, families, and staff to solicit feedback.
