Job summary

Solaris HealthCare Lely Palms is seeking a dedicated Activities CNA to support residents in Naples, FL. The role involves planning and leading varied activities tailored to residents’ abilities, fostering engagement, and collaborating with the care team to enhance overall well‑being.

Applicants must hold a valid Florida CNA certification and be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Background screening is required to join our team.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida CNA certification required.
• Experience with elderly residents preferred but not required.
• Ability to work flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Commitment to enriching residents' quality of life through meaningful activities.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift and assist residents.

Responsibilities

• Activity Planning: Develop and implement diverse activities for residents, including arts/crafts, music therapy, games, and exercise classes.
• Individualized Care: Tailor activity plans to residents' interests and cognitive abilities.
• Group Facilitation: Lead group activities and foster community.
• One-on-One Engagement: Provide personalized interaction.
• Documentation: Record participation and observe engagement and mood.
• Collaboration: Work with nurses, therapists, and social workers.
• Safety and Supervision: Ensure resident safety during activities.
• Communication: Inform families and staff about upcoming activities and concerns.
• Resource Management: Maintain inventory and assist with procurement of supplies.
