Job summary

Tennessee State Veterans' Homes is seeking an Activities Assistant CNA to help plan, develop, and evaluate activity programs for residents. You will observe attendance and mood to assess progress, involve families in planning, and support the volunteer program while assisting other staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required.
• F Endorsement preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, and evaluate activity programs.
• Observe resident mood, attendance, and involvement to assess progress.
• Involve residents and families in planning; interview residents or families for activity information.
• Participate in community planning related to facility interests and resident needs.
• Follow Activity Director policies; supervise volunteer program; assist other staff as needed.
