Job summary

Tenn State Veterans Homes Board is seeking an Activities Assistant CNA to join our team in Murfreesboro, TN. You will help design, organize, and lead engaging activities for residents, partnering with the Activities Director to promote social interaction and wellbeing.

Ideal candidates will hold an active CNA license, have experience with resident activities in healthcare, and demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to support diverse resident needs.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant active license is required.
• Previous experience with resident activities preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Must have good communication skills and the ability to interact well with others.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning organizing and coordinating a wide range of activities and events for residents both on site and off site.
• Collaborate with the Activities Director to develop monthly activity calendars that reflect the needs preferences and abilities of our residents.
• Lead and facilitate group activities such as games arts and crafts exercise classes music sessions and outings.
• Provide individualized support and assistance to residents who require additional help or accommodation during activities.

We are currently seeking an Activities AssistantCNA to join our team and assist in planning and organizing engaging activities for our residents The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with older adults and a creative mindset to develop stimulating activities that promote social interaction and enhance overall well being The Activities Assistant will work closely with the Activities Director to implement a variety of programs and events that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents.
