Job summary

The Palms at Sebring is seeking a compassionate CNA Activities Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will plan and implement recreation and social programs to enhance residents' quality of life and well-being.

As a full-time team member, you will collaborate with the Activities Director, supervise CNAs during daily living tasks, monitor progress, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for residents and their families.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in healthcare or senior living preferable.
• Ability to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement activities for residents, including social events, games, arts and crafts, and outings.
• Collaborate with the Activities Director to develop and implement activity programs.
• Supervise and assist CNAs with daily living activities (grooming, bathing, dressing).
• Assist with medication management and monitoring resident care.
• Record and report resident participation and progress in activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control standards.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
