The Palms at Sebring is seeking a compassionate CNA Activities Assistant to join our team. You will plan, organize, and implement activities that promote socialization, recreation, and well‑being for residents, under the supervision of the Activities Director.

Responsibilities include guiding CNAs in daily living tasks, assisting with medication monitoring, and documenting resident participation. A CNA certification and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years in healthcare or senior living setting.
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement activities for residents, including social events, games, arts and crafts, and outings.
• Collaborate with the Activities Director to develop activity programs that meet residents' needs and interests.
• Supervise and assist CNAs with daily living activities (grooming, bathing, dressing).
• Assist with medication management and monitoring resident care.
• Record and report resident participation and progress in activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment adhering to infection control standards.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
