Job summary

The Palms at Sebring is seeking a compassionate CNA Activities Assistant to enhance residents' quality of life by planning, organizing, and implementing engaging activities that promote socialization and well‑being.

You will support activity programs, supervise CNAs during daily living tasks, and collaborate with the Activities Director to tailor programs to residents' interests while maintaining a safe, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required or equivalent.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare or senior living settings.
• Must be able to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement activities for residents, including social events, games, arts and crafts, and outings.
• Collaborate with the Activities Director to develop and implement activity programs.
• Supervise and assist CNAs with daily living activities as needed.
• Assist with medication management and monitoring resident care.
• Record and report resident participation and progress in activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control standards.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
