Qualifications

• Certified/registered as a nursing assistant in Wisconsin
• Experience in long-term care preferred
• Able to communicate well in verbal and written forms

Responsibilities

• Provides quality care to guests in a nourishing environment.
• Performs ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding.
• Attends to incontinent care, transferring, ambulation, ROM, communication.
• Maintains skin integrity to prevent ulcers, turns immobile guests, applies moisturizers.
• Assists with vital signs, weight, wound care tasks as directed.
• Completes medical records per policies and maintains confidentiality.
• Follows infection control and safety precautions.
• Responds to call lights promptly and courteously.
• Assists with admissions and transfers, communicates with guests and families.
• Participates in departmental meetings and trainings.
