Job summary

Mennonite Memorial Home – Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio is hiring a CNA to support our nursing team in delivering compassionate, person‑centered care to older adults. You will assist residents with ADLs, monitor health, and help maintain a safe, dignified environment in a long‑term care setting.

The role offers meaningful work with the potential for full‑time or part‑time schedules, plus a $2 per hour shift differential for hours from 6p–6a and an additional $2 for weekend hours.

Qualifications

• State-approved CNA training completed.
• Valid Ohio CNA certification.
• Willingness to work in long-term care and provide compassionate care.
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding).
• Turn and reposition residents to prevent pressure ulcers.
• Take and record vital signs, weights, and other data.
• Transport residents using wheelchairs and assist with transfers using lifts.
• Maintain a clean, safe, sanitary environment.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure resident safety.
