Job summary

Mennonite Memorial Home – Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio is seeking a compassionate CNA to join our Nursing team. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor safety, and support elders with dignity.

We offer shift differentials, full-time/part-time options, ongoing training, and a team-focused environment. Applicants must have Ohio CNA certification and be able to read, write, and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Completion of a state-approved Nurse Assistant training program.
• Must possess and maintain valid Ohio Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Willingness to work in a long‑term care environment and provide compassionate care to older adults.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist elders with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Turn and reposition elders to prevent pressure injuries.
• Take and record vital signs, weights, and other data.
• Transport elders using wheelchairs and assist with transfers using mechanical lifts.
• Clean work areas and maintain a safe, sanitary environment.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and ensure elder safety.
