Job summary

Lake Prince Woods in Suffolk, VA is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Healthcare Unit team. This full-time CNA role supports residents with daily living activities and collaborates with nurses to maintain independence and well-being.

As a not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community, we offer a comprehensive benefits package and a schedule that works 32 hours weekly while getting paid for 40.

Qualifications

• Virginia CNA certification required.
• Graduation from a state-approved CNA training program.
• Minimum 3 months of experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old per labor regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
• Support residents to maintain independence and quality of life.
• Observe, report, and document changes in resident condition.
• Follow physician orders, care plans, and nursing instructions.
• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care per regulations.
• Collaborate with nurses and the care team.
