Job summary

Lake Prince Woods is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our 40-bed Skilled Nursing Unit in Suffolk, Virginia. This part-time role provides direct resident care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, helping residents with daily living activities and promoting dignity and quality of life.

The ideal candidate has a state-approved CNA program, is committed to elder care, and meets the education requirement of a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• State-approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program completion.
• Completion of all required in-service training.
• Must be at least 16 years of age per Department of Labor regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff.
• Support residents in maintaining independence and highest functioning.
• Adhere to infection control standards and care plans.
