Lake Prince Woods is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our 40-bed Skilled Nursing Unit in Suffolk, Virginia. This part-time role provides direct resident care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, helping residents with daily living activities and promoting dignity and quality of life.

Qualifications

Position Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct resident care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role assists residents in maintaining their highest possible level of physical, emotional, and social well-being while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life. Care is provided in accordance with physician orders, state and federal regulations, and Lake Prince Woods standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff.
• Support residents in maintaining independence and achieving their highest level of functioning.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
• Promote a safe, comfortable, and caring environment for residents.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established care plans.
• Adhere to all company policies, regulatory requirements, and infection control standards.

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience

• Minimum of three (3) months of experience performing basic nursing assistant duties preferred.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Certification & Requirements
